At Athena Christian Church, we dream of a future transformed by the Good News: Jesus is King! We exist to equip ordinary people to live as everyday disciple-makers — sent into homes, workplaces, and neighborhoods—where disciples are made and churches naturally emerge in the rhythms of life. 

Our Mission

We cultivate a culture immersed in the news that Jesus is King, empowering and equipping ordinary people to make and multiply disciple-makers. We seek to see Jesus’s Kingdom established where life happens. We help families and friends follow Jesus together, so that their circles of relationships—and whole neighborhoods—are transformed by the good news that Jesus is King. Everyone’s journey begins where they are, but our aim is Gospel saturation in every aspect of life.

Our goal is to raise up 25,000 ordinary people as empowered disciple-makers, actively reaching unchurched, de-churched, and unreached social networks—so together, we see God’s will done and His Kingdom come.

You don’t have to be a professional. You just have to say “yes.”
